Biography

The Gambol is a five-piece Americana band based out of Madison, WI. They have played with nationally-relevant acts such as The Lil' Smokies, The Glorious Sons, Dead Winter Carpenters, and The Last Revel, at a variety of venues across Wisconsin, including The High Noon Saloon, Revelry Music Festival,  Shannon Hall, The Frequency, and The Miramar Theater. The Gambol traveled to Nashville to record at Cartoon Moon Studios with Ken Coomer (Wilco, Uncle Tupelo) producing, and released their self-titled debut album on March 3rd, 2017. Guaranteed to pack a punch and make boots stomp with their high energy performances, The Gambol plays a blend of blues rock, bluegrass and folk. The group keeps authentic to its roots, while offering uniquely new tastes to the Midwest's flavorful, blossoming Americana scene.
